Desert Gypsy Dance Company Performs This Friday

Middle Eastern Dancers Prep to Amaze Audiences at End of Term Recital

Alpine, UT –(03/11/08)-

Desert Gypsy Dance Company proudly announces its three dance troupes will perform in UVSC’s Continuing Education Middle Eastern Dance Class Recital to be held on Friday, March 14, 2008, at 7:00 pm.  Hosted in American Fork Jr. High School’s auditorium, this high energy, family oriented event is free of charge.  The show is expected to run approximately one hour.  Parking is limited.  Early arrival is recommended.

Desert Gypsy Dance Company has been evolving since 1996 and consists of three
troupes: Desert Gypsy (directed by Halima and co-directed by Kalista), Gypsy
Rhythm (directed by Halima and co-directed by Araylia), and Gypsy Melody
(directed by Halima and co-directed by Odessa).  Each dance member brings
diverse technique and experience to the troupes.  Desert Gypsy Dance Company is
a fusion of different cultural facets that allows the dancers an unlimited reach
